Nepal Health News, Kathmandu – The 11th Summit of the Nepal Health Research Council, focused on national health and population scientists, has begun today. The conference, held at The Soaltee Hotel in Kathmandu, was inaugurated by the Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, Bidya Bhattarai.
With the theme "Health, Climate, and Population Change: Resilient Health for a Sustainable and Equitable Future," the summit is expected to host over 1,000 national and more than 100 international participants. Experts from India, China, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, and the United States are participating both physically and virtually.
A total of 87 oral presentations and 115 poster presentations have been selected for the summit. In addition, 26 invited speakers and 2 keynote speakers will deliver presentations focused on the summit's main theme. It has also been announced that individuals who have made outstanding contributions in 14 different areas of health research will be honored with awards during the event.
