Durga Prasai Being Transferred to Kathmandu from Bhadrapur, Jhapa Today via Buddha Air

Nepal Health News, Kathmandu — Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai is being brought to Kathmandu today. Prasai and his bodyguard Deepak Khadka are being transferred via a Buddha Air flight.

According to the Secretariat of the Inspector General of Police at the Nepal Police Headquarters, Prasai and his bodyguard Khadka were taken into custody from Bhadrapur in Jhapa district and are being brought to Kathmandu for further investigation.

Prasai had been on the run following allegations of inciting violence during a pro-monarchy protest in the Tinkune area on Chaitra 15 (March 28). A police team had recently traveled to India in search of Prasai.
